Welcome to Raising Change Globally
Raising children internationally can be beautiful and overwhelming all at once. There are moments when you feel isolated and deeply lonely, even when you’re surrounded by people.
Raising Change Globally is a growing community offering the gentle support and practical tools to help you feel more grounded, more confident and more at home in yourself, wherever life takes you.
Whether you want to strengthen your sense of identity, understand your children’s development more deeply or simply have a space where other expat mums truly get it, you’re in the right place.
Welcome to your Village.
And if we haven’t met yet, here’s a little bit about me.
I’m Angela Walker. I spent 30 years living overseas across 11 different countries, and 15 of those years raising my two sons. Along the way I homeschooled, supported children with learning and developmental differences, and founded Katie’s Readers, a youth-led outreach programme for underserved schools in our local community.
All those experiences taught me is this:
Confident parenting isn’t about having every answer. It’s about having the tools to stay steady, present and connected, especially when life around you keeps shifting.
Raising Change Globally is my way of giving expat mums the support I wish I’d had, a gentle and grounded space filled with simple, evidence-informed practices to help you feel more at home in yourself and more equipped to support your children as they grow.
Wherever you are in the world, I’m so glad you found us.
Each Friday, I send a short postcard from somewhere in the world. One sentence, offering a gentle reminder to pause and be present. If that feels like something you’d enjoy, you’re very welcome to join me.
